The Lindstrom for Minnesota campaign thanks MN Bio-Fuels Association for highlighting the important issue of biofuels policy, with their series of candidate features for the upcoming election. "With the way things have gone for many U.S. farmers the last few years," says candidate Connie Lindstrom, "biofuels are critical to the future of Minnesota agricultural producers for many reasons. It's a bipartisan win-win for the economy and the environment."
Lindstrom's opponent in the race for the House 1A seat chose not to respond to the MN Bio-Fuels Association's request. "This is unfortunate," comments Lindstrom, "since he has published many articles specifically criticizing ethanol and the Renewable Fuels Standard. If he's adjusted his views since announcing his candidacy, it would be good for him to get on the record now in support of all the farmers he plans to represent in the legislature."
